ANT 230 — Introduction to Forensic Anthropology
An introduction to the human skeleton from a physical anthropological and archaeological perspective, in a forensic (legal) setting; crime scene investigation for recovery of human remains; laboratory equipment and testing procedures; fingerprints; footprints; terminology/vocabulary used by legal system professionals and scientific expert witnesses in forensic anthropology; the processes of decay; forensic entomology; and other topics. Prerequisite: Any ANT, BIO, CHM, or SCI course.
Prerequisites: ANT 101, ANT 103, ANT 105
