ART 110 — Landscape Photography

3 credits · 3 hours

An intermediate course designed to provide students an opportunity to explore landscape photography. Students learn more advanced camera and post processing techniques to create landscape and nature photographs based in the Adirondacks or surrounding areas of upstate New York. The course covers lighting, composition, and visual effects. Students will embark on class trips for on-location photo shoots and practical field experience. On-location portion of the course includes physical activity such as walking, site exploration and gear transportation.
