ART 225 — Advanced Photographic Lighting

An advanced course in photographic lighting which explores a variety of lighting techniques used in both the commercial and fine arts fields of digital photography. The course builds off the fundamental skills learned in (Photography II) to explore high end creative uses of lighting both in and outside of the studio. Instruction will include but is not limited to creative use of strobe lighting, mixed light sources, external flash, lighting on location, and light painting. Students will also participate in group discussion and critiques.
