AVS 227 — Outdoor Program Leadership and Instruction

A comprehensive course designed to prepare students with the experiental, technical, and leadership skills fundamental to planning and leading educational, therapeutic, and recreational programs. A focus on the implementation of outdoor adventure-based administrative techniques, instructional methodologies, lesson planning, therapeutic/adaptive considerations, and risk management. Prerequisite: ADV 140.

Prerequisites: AVS 101, AVS 102, AVS 140, BUS 102
