BUS 206 — Small Business Financial Management

Students will obtain an understanding of the financial management considerations of launching and developing a small business. Emphasis on cash flow and working capital management, credit policies and practices, financing application practices, sources of financing, budgetary practices, forecasting and proforma financial statements, business valuation principles, and financial statement analysis. Other topics include lease purchase decision making, business acquisition considerations, financial considerations of franchisee agreements and outsourcing practices for small business management.

Prerequisites: BUS 144, BUS 146B, BUS 146, CIS 119, CIS 125, CIS 150
