EGR 210 — Thermodynamics

Study and application of the fundamental concepts of laws of thermodynamics with regard to engineering processes and operations. Topics include properties of pure substances, work, heat, energy, and the First Law of Thermodynamics; techniques of First Law analysis; entropy and the Second Law of Thermodynamics; techniques of Second Law analysis, analysis of various heat engines. Appropriate for Engineering Science majors.

Prerequisites: MAT 131, EGR 105
