MAT 227 — Topics in Statistical Inference
A continuation of inference theory including matched pairs t-testing, testing differences between population means and proportions, one-factor and two-factor analysis of variance; post hoc tests; Type II error and the power of a statistical test; the use of non-parametric statistics; further regression analysis including transformation of data, and concluding with introductory multivariate regression. The course will be integrated with the use of the graphing calculator. Prerequisite: .
