PED 106 — Athletic Training I
An introduction to current philosophies, procedures and practices related to the care and prevention of athletic injuries. Students will study contemporary principles and methods of conditioning, prevention, and first-aid care along with the fundamentals of taping and wrapping techniques, inspection & physical examination, and training room procedures. Students will gain first hand knowledge as student assistants while working with the varsity sports programs under the direction of the certified athletic trainer.
