PED 174 — Skiing II

Focus will be placed on fundamentals of skiing and/or snowboarding and mountain safety with particular emphasis on acquisition of intermediate to advanced skills. Skills are taught according to the Professional Ski Instructor's Association (PSIA) guidelines. Regular intermediate instruction will include stopping, parallel turns, skiing/snowboarding under control, moguls, and glades, and equipment use.

Prerequisites: PED 124, PED 144
