PED 206 — Athletic Training II

This course builds on the introductory concepts of , Athletic Training I. Utilizing the principles of athletic training students will learn to apply skills relative to injury prevention, evaluation, management, and rehabilitation. Students will participate through a variety of practical/clinical healthcare settings, including the athletic training room, physical therapy centers, ER room, orthopedic office, area high schools (under the direct supervision of a certified athletic trainer) and additional healthcare personnel involved with the physically active individual.

Prerequisites: PED 106, PED 211
