SCI 220 — Environmental Service Learning
Environmental service-learning students develop projects by volunteering in their local community to address environmental education outreach, scientific research/fieldwork, resource management, habitat restoration, species conservation/monitoring, environmental justice and related topics. Students are expected to participate in 80 hrs. of service per semester and weekly classes for academic learning, on-going project discussion, and peer-reviewed student in-class presentation.
Prerequisites: BIO 103, BIO 104, BIO 105, BIO 111, BIO 112, BIO 205, CHM 103, CHM 107, CHM 111, CHM 203, SCI 110, SCI 155, AVS 227
