Topics include components of fire, fire sources, fire behavior, properties of combustible solids, classification of hazards, and the use of fire extinguishing agents. Upon completion, students should be able to describe the properties of matter and dynamics of fire, identify fuel sources, and compare suppressants and extinguishment techniques. Class Hours: 3
