ACH271 — Advanced Building Information Modeling

3 credit hours - One hour lecture and four hours of laboratory weekly; one term. Explore advanced uses of the latest in building information modeling technology as it applies to the sequence of the design and construction documentation process. Focus on expanding knowledge of advanced skills in the areas of conceptual design, including massing studies, space planning, visualization, rendering and animations. Course uses Revit software by Autodesk. Lab fee $40. Note: This course counts as one of the required CAD electives.
