ARB112 — Elementary Arabic 2
3 credit hours - Three hours weekly; one term. This course meets the Arts & Humanities General Education Requirement. Focuses on intermediate level Modern Standard Arabic vocabulary, translation, transcription, grammar and sentence structure. The course places equal emphasis on speaking, writing and reading and will place a strong emphasis on conversation, and the defining of vocabulary in context through the translation and discussion of Arabic newspaper articles, radio and television broadcasts and contemporary Arabic literature. Note: This course is not for students who are already proficient in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Arabic.
