BIO230 — Structure and Function of the Human Body

4 credit hours - Three hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory weekly; one term. This course meets the Biological and Physical Sciences General Education Requirement. Learn the anatomy and physiology of the human body. Surveys major systems of the body, cells and tissues. Considers clinical disorders of major systems. Lab fee $20. Note: Credit is not given for both BIO 230 and any of the following: BIO 231 , BIO 232 , BIO 233 or BIO 234 . Students enrolled in the EMT-P, Pharmacy Technician, Medical Coding and Massage Therapy certificate programs and Personal Trainer letter of recognition programs should consult their program advisor for math eligibility.
