BPA255 — Accounting Information Systems
3 credit hours - Three hours weekly; one term. Survey accounting information systems (AIS) concepts and explore the following topics: transactional processing concepts and core AIS applications; control frameworks used to secure AIS applications and processes and strategies for implementing or upgrading AIS applications. Satisfy the requirements of the new CPA evolution model and/or gain additional knowledge in the area of the development of appropriate accounting systems.
