CHE213H — Organic Chemistry 1 - Honors

4 credit hours - Three hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory weekly; one term. This is an honors course. Study the chemistry of hydrocarbons and their simple derivatives, emphasizing their structures, properties and mechanisms of reactions. Use general laboratory techniques and procedures in organic chemistry and learn modern methods of analysis, including gas chromatography. Lab fee $70.
