CJS214 — Physical Conditioning for Law Enforcement

1 credit hour - Two hours weekly; one term. Formerly PHE 214-Physical Conditioning for Law Enforcement and Firefighter/Rescue Service Personnel Enables prospective law enforcement officers to develop physical fitness. Intensive fitness training regimes prepare for the rigorous physical demands of these occupations. This course emphasizes muscular strength and endurance training, cardiovascular conditioning and flexibility exercises. Students will work on individual weight training programs as a participant in group conditioning activities. Course
