3 credit hours - 45 hours of lecture. RESTRICTED. Open only to Police Academy Option students. Covers topics mandated by the Maryland Police Training Commission for pre-employment certification as a sworn law enforcement officer. Topics include traffic stops, effective use of patrol vehicle, documentation of traffic offenses and responding to crimes in progress.
