7 credit hours - 51 hours of lecture, 74 hours of laboratory and 68 hours of clinical; one term. Analyze the duties and responsibilities of a paramedic in utilizing advanced life support concepts and practices of infection control, patient assessment and pharmacological interventions. Explore and apply advanced medical management techniques for cardiac, eyes, ears, nose, and throat (EENT), environmental, neurological, immunological, trauma, and special challenges patients. Integrate skill acquisition into patient assessment and treatment/care plans for patients. Practice select procedures on each other during college lab. Lab fee $200. Clinical fee $150.
