GEO103H — Cultural Geography
3 credit hours - Three hours weekly; one term. This is an honors course. This course meets the Social and Behavioral Sciences General Education Requirement. Examine cultural practices as intimately woven elements of the spaces and places of everyday life through tracing how they operate in tandem with other political, economic, social, and ecological systems. Understand the application of geographic theories, both scientific and aesthetic, to rigorously explore how cultural practices continuously organize, distribute, and express the attitudes and beliefs of different cultural groups within the global human environment.
