GEO244 — Fundamentals of Remote Sensing
3 credit hours - Two hours of lecture and one hour of lab weekly; one term Explore data collected with remote sensing technologies, such as Earth-orbiting satellites, to investigate landscapes and natural phenomena. Develop an understanding of the history of remote sensing and Earth observation while building a practical skill set for processing and analyzing remotely sensed data with Geographic Information Systems. Note: Students are recommended to take GEO 240 prior to or concurrently with GEO 244. Course
Prerequisites: ENG101, ENG101A, GEO240
