3 credit hours - Three hours lecture weekly; one term. Study the culture and civilization of German-speaking Europe from the Enlightenment to the early twentieth century. Develop reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Taught in German. Note: This course is not for students who are already proficient in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in German.
