3 credit hours - Three hours weekly; one term. This course meets the Arts & Humanities General Education Requirement. This course meets the Diversity Requirement. Compare and analyze multicultural literature in English, written by women of diverse regions, cultures, races, sexualities, religions and classes. Explore the relationships between gender and literary form, content, production, evaluation, and interpretation, with attention to historical, social, cultural and political contexts, as well as literary analysis.
