HUM270 — Capstone Seminar in Applied Humanities

3 credit hours - Three hours seminar weekly; one term. This course meets the Arts and Humanities General Education Requirement. Examine critical questions in the Humanities through interdisciplinary and critical lenses in seminar discussion, developing multifaceted answers. Develop and discuss the theory and practice of active and ethical research and development of a hypothesis in the Humanities. The course culminates in a capstone project and portfolio of work showcasing the development of thought throughout seminar courses. Crosslisted: Also as HUM 270H; credit not given for both HUM 270 and HUM 270H. Note: HUM-270 may be taken concurrently with the final seminar-tagged course with permission of the School of Liberal Arts.
