3 credit hours - Three hours weekly; one term Examine gambling addiction from biological, psychological, and social perspectives. Gain knowledge and clinical understanding related to the etiology and prevention of this addiction, as well as identification and treatment of those with a pathological gambling disorder. Explore and apply clinical screening tools, diagnostic criteria and interventions through case studies. Investigate personal, familial and social consequences of problem gambling.
