LGS205 — Cyberlaw
3 credit hours - Three hours weekly; one term. Introduces students to emerging laws of cyberspace. Explore methods of investigating and preventing cybercrimes and infringements upon information security. Discuss laws governing e-commerce and intellectual property protections, focusing on landmark and other cases such as Napster. The class will also debate privacy rights and free speech on the Internet.
