LGS275 — Paralegal Internship
3 credit hours - One hour seminar, 10 hours work weekly; one term. Students gain practical experience in the functions and responsibilities of a paralegal on the job. Placement will afford lawyer-supervised opportunities to integrate and reinforce classroom principles and concepts. May be repeated once for credit. Lab fee $12. 5 or better, including a C or better in all LGS courses, or permission of internship coordinator. LGS 144 and LGS 170 advisable. Note: Students will be provided with numerous internship opportunities and mentorship in securing placement; however, it is the student’s responsibility to be interviewed and accepted by the internship agency.
