MAT037 — Introduction to College Algebra
2 equivalent hours. - Two hours weekly; one term. Study intermediate algebra topics supporting the problem-solving skills required for College Algebra. Topics include linear, rational, radical, quadratic, exponential and logarithmic equations and functions; systems of linear equations; graphing linear and non-linear functions; and inequalities. A brief review of Beginning Algebra topics is also included. Note: MAT 037 and MAT 137 may be taken in the same semester. A grade of at least C is required in MAT 037 in order to start MAT 137 .
