MDA110 — Professionalism in Health Care

1 credit hours - One hour weekly; one term. Introduces health profession students to the elements of professionalism including job commitment, accountability, work ethic, attitude and quality of work. Students gain a fundamental understanding of the health care professional’s contributions in the work environment. Teamwork, trustworthiness, communication skills, conflict resolution and customer service in the health care environment are presented.
