MEC230 — Electric Motor Fundamentals
3 credit hours - two hours lecture and two hours lab weekly; one term. Learn the fundamentals of AC and DC motor types commonly found in industry along with their related control technologies. Explore specifications, operation, starting, braking, overload protection, basic troubleshooting, and variable frequency drives.
