3 credit hours - 30 hours of lecture and 30 hours of laboratory; one term. Recognize the anatomy and physiology of the genitourinary system and the principles and procedures of the complete urinalysis. Topics include physical, chemical, and microscopic examinations of urine as well as other body fluids such as cerebrospinal, synovial, serous, seminal, amniotic, gastric, and fecal analysis.
