MUS146 — Techniques of Sight Reading

1 credit hour - Two hours weekly; one term. Students learn to recognize, by eye and ear, scale and chord passages in a melody and to recognize basic harmonic structure and simple modulation within a composition. They also learn to improvise harmonic accompaniments to simple melodies. Course
