MUS223 — Applied Music: Small Ensemble

1 credit hour - One lecture hour weekly; one term The study and performance of classical, jazz, and commercial/popular music for various small ensembles. Students may choose to perform in one or more of the following: String Ensemble, Woodwind Ensemble, Brass Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, Vocal Ensemble, Small Jazz Combo, or Commercial/Popular Band. The course content, depending upon the instrumental and/or vocal makeup of the class, will include a diversity of styles that may range from traditional to modern repertoire. Lab fee $250.
