PHY211 — General Physics 1

4 credit hours - Three hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory weekly; one term. This course meets the Biological and Physical Sciences General Education Requirement. Discover the fundamental concepts and methods of physics as a basis for further study in science and engineering. Study the classical principles and their application to calculus-based mathematical analysis of physical problems. Analyze topics including mechanics (kinematics, laws of motion, force, momentum, and energy) and basic fluid theory. Lab fee $25.
