6 credit hours - 360 hours of clinical laboratory per term. Perform procedures with the surgical team in an operating room environment using a preceptor-based model. Apply the theories and skills learned in previous surgical technology courses to the care of the surgical patient and begin to develop a portfolio of surgical procedures across the specialties.
