SOC150 — Introduction to Aging Studies
3 credit hours - Three hours weekly; one term. This course meets the Social and Behavioral Sciences General Education Requirement. This course meets the Diversity Requirement. Examine the myths, demographics, psychosocial perspectives and biomedical aspects of growing old in America. Discuss issues impacting older persons including economics, politics, religion, leisure, social/living environment, intimacy and sexuality, health care and death and dying.
