SPA211H — Intermediate Spanish 1 - Honors
3 credit hours - Three hours weekly; one term. This is an honors course. This course meets the Arts & Humanities General Education Requirement. Strengthen listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in Spanish at the intermediate level. Describe past events, give commands, make requests and recommendations, and express doubt and opinions. Analyze key ideas in short informational and fictional texts. Compare cultural products, practices, and perspectives of Spanish-speaking communities. Crosslisted: Also as SPA 211 ; credit is not given for both SPA 211 and SPA 211H. Note: This course is not recommended for students who are already proficient in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish.
