The final phase of the Practical Nursing program concentrates on complex adult health conditions and diseases. The course emphasizes mental health disorders, patient psychological needs, and the communication skills necessary to provide safe, quality patient care. The student builds on the QSEN competencies acquired from the previous courses to implement care, develop leadership skills, and function as part of the interprofessional health care team in multiple clinical settings.
