Civil Engineering Technology Certificate of Achievement
The Civil Engineering Technology Certificate of Achievement program equips students with a skill set to support various areas of civil engineering, such as construction, water resources, public works, structural detailing and design, environmental evaluation, and energy development. In addition to engineering fundamentals, the program includes coursework in AutoCAD, surveying, financial accounting, and business law. Courses in this certificate program are aligned with the core lower division requirements for Bachelor of Science in Construction Management programs at the following California State University campuses: Fresno, Northridge, Long Beach, East Bay, Sacramento, Chico, and San Diego. More opportunities for transfer may be available through the Western Undergraduate Exchange. Additional general education courses will be required for transfer.
