College and Academic Writing Success Certificate of Competency
The Student Success with Academic Reading and Writing Emphasis Certificate is designed to support new, current, and returning students by providing tools and strategies to be successful in both traditional and online learning environments and by creating awareness of programs, services, and other student resources available at the college. The program is also designed to help students read, think, organize, and write successfully at the college entry level. This class will assist students in developing academic reading, writing, study, and time management skills that will help them communicate their ideas effectively and respond capably to college-level materials.
