Correctional Administration Associate of Arts
This program guides students toward careers in law enforcement, the courts and the law, and state, local, and private corrections. The program provides students with an understanding of the correctional systems utilized by local, state, and federal levels of government. Students will explore the various career paths and hiring practices associated with jobs in the Correctional field. It provides a comprehensive overview of correctional facilities, community-based facilities/programs, probation, and parole utilized in the United States. Upon completion of graduation requirements and the required degree courses with at least a ‘C’ or ‘P’ grade in each course, the student will be eligible for an Associate of Arts degree.
