Criminal Justice Associate of Arts
This program includes classes that will guide students toward careers in law enforcement and policing, the courts and the law, and state, local, and private corrections. Upon completion of graduation requirements and the required degree courses with at least a “C” or “P” (pass) grade in each course, the student will be eligible for an Associate of Arts degree. Criminal Justice is a career-oriented liberal arts major focusing upon the interrelationship among crime, the criminal justice system and society as a whole. As such, there are many potential career opportunities in this field, such as: Community Agencies Crime Prevention, Private Security, Corrections, Forensic Science Services, Psychological Services, Counseling, Court & Legal Services, Policy Development, and Social Work.
