Elementary Teacher Education: Integrated Programs Associate in Arts for Transfer
The Associate in Arts for Transfer in Elementary Teacher Education: Integrated Programs Associate in Arts for Transfer degree is designed to prepare students for transfer to a California State University (CSU) traditional or integrated teacher preparation programs in Multiple Subject (Elementary School) and Special Education. This degree incorporates the elementary subject matter competence requirements as established by the California Teacher Credentialing Commission and prepares students for the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST) and California Subject Examinations for Teachers (CSET) Multiple Subjects exam. Additionally, the degree may also serve as preparation for paraprofessional positions in the K-12 classroom. Upon completion of the following requirements, the student will be eligible for an Associate Degree for Transfer: (1) Completion of 60 semester
