English Associate in Art for Transfer
The Associate in Arts in English for Transfer degree is designed to prepare students for a seamless transfer into the California State University (CSU) system to complete a baccalaureate degree in English or similar major. The Associate in Arts in English for Transfer degree provides a study of literature and expository writing. English majors will be able to analyze literary work and will be able to demonstrate an understanding of and an ability to describe ways in which literature reflects historical, intellectual, and cultural contexts, as well as aesthetic tastes; English majors will be able to evaluate literature and expository and argumentative papers and essays through application of critical thinking techniques; and they will be able to write logical and
