Food Science and Technology Certificate of Achievement
The Food Science and Technology Certificate of Achievement focuses on the science, technologies, and systems used in the food industry. The skills gained will be applicable to a wide range of careers within the food industry including food product research and development, quality assurance, sensory analysis, nutritional content analysis, food storage, safety, food plant management, marketing and sales. Core career areas include: food chemistry, food engineering, food microbiology, sensory science, food nutrition and health, food processing and packaging, food safety and defense, public policy and regulation, and sustainability. To Achieve the Certificate of Achievement: Upon completion of the required courses with at least a “C” or “P” (pass) grade in each course, the student will be awarded a Certificate of
