General Engineering Certificate of Achievement
The General Engineering certificate program is designed to meet the core transfer requirements for a wide range of engineering disciplines. This program includes the core math, science, and engineering courses required for most university engineering programs. Choice of computer programming course should be based on engineering discipline requirements: ENGR B19C and COMP B11 are recommended for electrical engineering and computer engineering, COMP B20 is recommended for most other engineering disciplines (e.g. aerospace, civil, construction, manufacturing, mechanical, etc.). Additional courses may be required for transfer. Students interested in transferring should consult with a counselor or academic advisor. This program also meets the core transfer requirements for Marine Engineering Technology and Facilities Engineering Technology at the California State University Maritime Academy (formerly
