Journalism Associate in Arts for Transfer
The Associate in Arts in Journalism for Transfer degree is intended for those transfer-directed students who plan to complete an Associate of Arts for Transfer (AA-T) in Journalism because it guarantees admission to the California State University (CSU) system (but not to a particular campus or major). In order to earn the Associate of Arts in Journalism for Transfer, students must complete 60 required semester units of CSU-transferable coursework with a minimum GPA of 2.0. Students transferring to a CSU campus that does accept the Associate of Arts in Journalism for Transfer will be required to complete no more than 60 units after transfer to earn a bachelor’s degree (unless the major is designated a “high-unit” major).
