Mechanical Engineering Technology Associate of Science
Students in the Mechanical Engineering Technology Associate of Science (AS) program develop knowledge in engineering fundamentals and hands-on skills in machine tool processes, basic electronics, and computer aided design (AutoCAD or Solidworks). The California State University campuses with transfer opportunities include Los Angeles, San Jose, Pomona, and Chico. Additional transfer opportunities to mechanical engineering technology programs at universities outside California are available via the Western Undergraduate Exchange. Students interested in transferring should contact a counselor or educational advisor. Upon completion of graduation requirements and the required degree courses with at least a "C" or "P" (pass) grade in each course, the student will be eligible for an Associate of Science degree.
