Paraprofessional Level IV Certificate of Achievement
This certificate of achievement will provide students with the necessary knowledge for working as an educational paraprofessional inside or outside of the classroom. The certificate of achievement courses will increase students’ knowledge base and increase the likelihood of success when working with school-age children and adolescents. The certificate may also serve as preparation for paraprofessional positions in the K-12 classroom, meet unit requirements for paraprofessionals, and incorporate subject matter to prepare students for the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST). To Achieve the Certificate of Achievement: Upon completion of the required courses with at least a ‘C’ or ‘P’ grade in each course, the student will be awarded a Certificate of Achievement.
